We held “the short-term summer classes for children with international backgrounds”

We held “the short-term summer classes for children with international backgrounds” from July 26th (Tue) through 30th (Sat) in Clark Memorial Hall, Hokkaido University.
Fifteen children (total number for 5 days: 60) from 3 elementary and 4 junior high schools attended the classes. Nine volunteers (total number for 5 days: 39) helped them studying with their homework and review for their classes. They also had some fun for a change. Sixty percent of them have continued to participate since last year. We were pleased to hear that new comers also said, “I want to join the winter classes.”
We are going to hold the short-term winter classes from Jan. 10th (Tue) through 13th (Fri.), 2017.
