Maruyama has a zoo and Hokkaido Shrine, but did you know that it is actually a mountain with an altitude of 225m? There is a climbing course, and you can climb up to the top and come down in about an hour and a half. Why don’t you climb Maruyama with citizen volunteers during the autumn leaves season?
